Kout Food Group started its operation in Kuwait in the year 1982 with the much-loved creation of 'Hungry Bunny', which was the first local franchise.

Since then, the Group is dedicated to being a pioneer in our field and is currently engaged in the operation of international and locally inspired restaurants in Kuwait, catering services, import and export of food related items, representation of foreign companies as well as advising others in such businesses.

Within Kuwait, the Kout Food Group manages and operates internationally recognized brand names of Burger King, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Applebee's, Kababji, and Burj Al Hamam. Our Factory in Sabhan 'Fresh Productions', is a state of the art manufacturing facility with production capability for an extensive range of pre-packaged, own label, private label, catering with airline potential.

Amin Mohamed

After joining Kout in 2009 as Senior Operations Manager leading Pizza Hut, Amin has grown with Kout and expanded his role. As Deputy CEO, Amin is now leading all aspects of the business including new developments in all markets. Amin has previously worked in Yum Group and ADF Companies in the United States. He is driven by the sense of fulfillment in knowing he has done his job better today than yesterday and the excitement to do the same every day. A fitness enthusiast, Amin likes collecting coins, reading and travelling while he is not running outdoors.

Alaa Bahgat

Having joined Kout as a Restaurant Manager, Alaa Bahgat now leads one of our biggest brands in Pizza Hut as Senior Manager – Operations. With a background in Hospitality and Fast Food, he is driven by building capabilities of his team. While he is not making sure every Pizza Hut guest is having a happy customer experience, he can be found unwinding with a book or in the pool

Shouvik

Shouvik joined Kout in 2013 as Learning and Development Manager after previous roles in HR, Training and Operations in multiple Pan Asian countries. As Senior Manager – Human Resources, Shouvik is currently leading the Human Resources function at Kout. A trained chef, Shouvik enjoys cooking, travelling, driving and photography when he is not doing what he enjoys most – helping people.

Ahmed Salaheldin Hashem Ali

Ahmed joined Kout in 2014 as a Senior Operations Manager leading Applebee’s and is now Associate Director leading Burger King along with Applebee’s.With over 22 years of experience in Egypt, UAE and Qatar working in brands like, Pizza Hut, TGI Fridays and Hard Rock Café, Ahmad has always brough out the best in his people. His top strengths are Influencer - Advisor and he is at his best when the competition is fiercest. Being a people-oriented person driven by the sense of responsibility, he strongly believes in team engagement and development. Reading books, playing and watching football has always been a never-ending pastime.

Mazen Alchaleh

Mazen graduated with an Engineering Degree and has spent most of his career in Restaurant Operations. Having worked and grown with Taco Bell International in the United States, Mazen joined Kout in 2010 as Senior Operations Manager for Pizza Hut and has consistently grown within the organization. As Country Manager – Kuwait and Iraq, his current portfolio at Kout consists of all Restaurant Brands and key corporate functions including Supply Chain and IT.

Hussein Zabin

Hussein joined Kout Food Group in 1992 as a Projects Manager, after working with the Ministry of Public Works as well as local and international companies. Hussein is our Property Director, tirelessly providing support to the local and regional markets. He handles various functions such as Projects, Leasing & Acquisition (Real Estate), Facilities Management, Licensing and Asset Design. As one of the pioneers as Kout, he is fueled to work with the principles of honesty, loyalty, service excellence from the heart. Despite his busy schedules, he sees to it that he finds time for reading and running to keep his mind and body healthy.

 

Kuwaitization

As an organization committed to helping advance the economic and industrial growth of Kuwait, attracting and developing the best local talent has always been a priority at Kout.

We believe that we approach Kuwaitization from a holistic perspective with an aim to establish and maintain a balance within Kout that is reflective of the community of Kuwait.

We have a long standing partnership with Universities in the country where continuously engage and recruit young local talent.

Our Community Our Community

Kout's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is aligned with our Core Values of building capacities in people and adding value to our society. As such, our CSR platform partners with grass roots organizations that focus on youth training programs and workshops that nurture various talents & skills and provide out-reach programs and community services.

Few of those grass roots organizations are: LOYAC, INJAZ, and P2BK. We also sponsor and support Bayt Abdullah, a non-profit Children's Hospice in addition to Children with special needs.

We aim to continue our meaningful partnerships with local Youth organizations with the goal of creating "Leaders for the Future"; instilling a sense of purpose to contribute to their Community by working side by side with our hands, our hearts, and our minds. As such, our relationship with the community is deep-rooted.

OUR ENVIRONMENT

Kout is committed to protecting the environment. We strive for continual improvement through initiatives related to our business by recycling the fry oil, using state-of-the-art Delivery Trucks and Vehicles, minimizing our carbon foot-print, procuring local produce when applicable, and liaising with vendors who also share similar Environmental best practice beliefs.
