Job Description
The ideal candidate is a team player who will be responsible for working with company data in various business areas. Specific responsibilities include reporting metrics, analyzing methodologies, suggesting operation improvements and building proposal evaluations in a cross functional environment.
Responsibilities:
- To produce and track key performance indicators.
- Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content and work alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs.
- Design and carry out surveys and analyze survey data.
- Create data dashboards, graphs and visualizations.
- Designing and maintaining data systems and databases; this includes fixing coding errors and other data-related problems.
- Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
- Preparing reports of executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Collaborating with organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend system modifications.
- Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, or related field or equivalent related experience.
- Five + years data analyst or related experience, including proficiency with analytical software or equivalent related education.
- Proficiency in statistics, data analysis and research methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Hands on business and data analytics tool – Power BI.
- Ability to set and meet deadlines and to work in high-pressure situations
Skills
Experience in data models and reporting packages.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
The Capacity to develop and document procedures and workflows.
The ability to carry out data quality control, validation and linkage.
Experience of statistical methodologies and data analysis technique.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
An analytical mind and inclination for problem – solving.
Excellent attention to detail.
