  1. Once I get to Kuwait where will I be staying until I find an apartment?

    Appropriate Accommodation will be arranged for your first 3 months in Kuwait or until you find suitable accommodation
  2. Could I have a map of the Company accommodation?

    Yes, as part of your orientation process, we will provide you with a map of the area in which you will be staying
  3. If I stay in the company apartments beyond my initial term, do I pay at the same rate?

    Please refer to temporary accommodations procedure/agreement with HR.
  4. Will the company support me in finding a place to live?

    Yes.
  5. How do I open a bank account?

    The Payroll department will do that for you within a month of your arrival.
  6. How much does it cost to rent suitable accommodation?

    It depends on the area where you want to live and the facilities provided.
  7. What are the company’s working hours?

    Sundays to Thursdays from 8.30am to 5.00pm.

  8. Will myself or my family be covered by an insurance policy?

    Yes, there is an insurance policy for management recruits. (compensation & benefits team) HR will brief you in detail
  9. Is there an internet and postal service in Kuwait?

    Internet services are widely available, postal services are provided by Aramax, DHL, and Fedex.
  10. Where is the best place to buy food and personal things.

    There are several cooperative supermarkets within every area as well as reputable supermarkets
    Ex: Sultan Centre or Carrefour in commercial areas.
  11. When is the pay day?

    Depending on calendar days,– every 29th if it is a 31 day month and 28th if it is a 30 day month. As we normally get paid through the bank, pay day is affected by Public/Bank Holidays.

  1. Can I apply by post rather than online?

    No, we only accept online applications.
  2. Can I email KFG with a question or to follow up my application?

    If you have a question about our recruitment and employment policy, firstly look through our careers site.

  3. I've heard there's a new restaurant opening close to me - where can I find out details on your recruitment for this?

    if a new resturant is opening in your area, please look in our website, or search jobs.
  4. Can I apply for more than one role?

    Yes, but although the selection criteria may be similar most positions are very different. Please think about the type of role that will suit you and your ultimate goals best, and only apply for appropriate vacancies.
  5. Can I apply if I don't have a full work-permit?

    No. We can only consider applications from those with a full and valid permit to work in the country in which they are seeking employment.

  6. What can I expect at an interview?

    Friendly people and lots of questions. We'll want to know all about your background and whether your skills match our SPPIICED competency framework and the role for which you're applying. Of course, interviews work two ways, so you'll be encouraged to ask questions about KFG in return!
  7. If my application is unsuccessful, can I request feedback?

    Yes. In the first instance, please contact the representative who informs you of our decision.
  8. Do you have Summer/Christmas holiday jobs available?

    We do sometimes have temporary positions available in our restaurants. To find out about opportunities in your area, please contact the Restaurant Manager at your local restaurant directly, please search location in our jobs for positions.
  9. Will I have to wear a uniform?

    If you work in a restaurant, you'll probably wear a uniform, but this depends on your role. In head office, dress in some functions is 'business' most of the week and casual on Fridays, while some departments wear casual clothes all week.

    We take our responsibilities as a member of both local and wider communities very seriously and we're always trying to do our bit to help.
  12. Are there lots of social activities?

    There's a great team atmosphere in KFG and people tend to work hard and play hard. Most people who work in restaurant roles live reasonably locally and so there's generally quite a strong wider social scene here too, as well as great team spirit that can often mean after work get togethers for those who are interested. Plus there are all sorts of company events as well as discounts via voucher.
